Former Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha became a topic of discussion following a fairly sarcastic column he wrote for a newspaper, in which he apologised for all UPA scams and the government's policy paralysis. Someone using the handle Rightwingdian tweeted: 'Brilliant piece by Sinha, dripping with feisty sarcasm!' A certain Sumit wasn't impressed though: 'Sinha is an attention seeker. He resigned from the BJP in June 2009, then made a mockery of himself by joining back.' There was this comment from Ankit Jain: 'Now that Sinha has apologized for all scams, Kapil Sibal should do something about his irritating eyebrows.' And this, from Sanjay Jha: 'Sinha has unfortunately mistaken column-writing for campaign sloganeering. First principle: Know your audience.'A quick PR lessonActress Ayesha Takia and Kingfisher scion Siddharth Mallya both clogged timelines after a spat online turned rather ugly. It began with Takia accusing the airline of misbehaving with her sister and ballooned out of control after Mallya responded with this: 'Been getting re-tweets about Ayesha Takia and Kingfisher Airlines. Not too sure who she is, an actor of some sort? But it seems something has upset her!' As Ratnakar Sadasyula pointed out though: 'Had I replied to a client the way Mallya replied to Takia, I would have been pink-slipped by now.' There was also some advice from our columnist Rohan Joshi: 'Dear Ayesha Takia and Kingfisher, it's Bob Marley's birthday. Peace out. His method of flying was best. Try it.
