Even as top GOP advisor quits over Trump, the Republican nominee suggests that come November, polls will be rigged in Clinton’s favour
Washington: Donald Trump has claimed that the US presidential election could be “rigged”. As the Republican nominee tried to divert attention away from a disastrous week for his campaign, he labelled his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton as “the devil”. "I'm afraid the election is going to be rigged," Trump said yesterday in Columbus, Ohio. The White House hopeful who emerged winner in a primary of 17 candidates claimed Clinton had to fight only against Senator Bernie Sanders. “First of all, it was rigged, and I'm afraid the election is going to be rigged, I have to be honest.” At another rally, Trump branded the former secretary of state as a “devil”. Trump used this characterisation of Clinton when speaking about Sanders’ decision to support her. “He made a deal with the devil. She’s the devil,” Trump alleged.

Meanwhile, Clinton launched another salvo against her opponent and alleged that Trump does not even respect Americans enough to do what every other presidential candidate has done for decades and released their tax returns.
“It’s time for Trump to stop hiding,” Clinton said at a rally in Nebraska. “My husband and I have put out about 33 or 34 years’ worth if you’re interested. He doesn't even respect the American people enough to do what every other candidate has done for decades and release them,” she said.
