Pakistan Marine Security Agency has apprehended 70 Indian fishermen and seized their 11 fishing boats near International Maritime Boundary Limit off Gujarat coast

Jakhau (Gujarat): Pakistan Marine Security Agency has apprehended 70 Indian fishermen and seized their 11 fishing boats near International Maritime Boundary Limit off Gujarat coast.

National Fish Workers Forum Secretary Manish Lodhari said, the fishermen were in 12 boats, but one of the boats caught fire after firing by Pakistani security agency.


No casualty has however been reported due to this incident. Other 11 boats have been taken to Karachi port by the Pakistani Security agency. Lodhari added that the Ahmedabad Coast Guard has been informed about the incident.
