The cat got her tongue and everything else. An Italian woman has received a whopping 20 body modifications so she can realise her dream of “transitioning” into a cat, as seen in videos amassing millions of views on TikTok. Despite getting labelled “psychotic” and “disturbed” by haters, the real-life cat woman claims she is purr-fectly right at home with her lifestyle choice.

“I’m thinking that I would be a pretty cool cat lady,” Chiara Dell’Abate, 22, who goes by Aydin Mod online — told Media Drum World of her pussycat pilgrimage. The Rome resident’s lifelong body modification binge began at 11, when she received her first piercing and ear stretching. Fast forward five years later, and Aydin Mod had over 72 piercings like a human Pinhead from Hellraiser.

Now, the human pincushion has over 20 body modifications, including punched nostrils, 0.8 cm upper lip piercings, and a 1.6 cm inner labia piercing. In one of her TikTok videos with over 65 million views, Dell’Abate can be seen flicking her split tongue through two gaping holes above her lips like a lingual peep show. If that wasn’t extreme enough, the Roman also underwent a blepharoplasty — cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids — and has ten subdermal implants on both hands.

To round out her otherworldly appearance, the kitty cosplayer also got outfitted with four horns, six genital beads, eyeball tattoos, and had her nipples removed. “It’s crazy to see how much the human body can change and what you can actually achieve from body modifications,” gushed Dell’Abate, who now plans to become a human kitten. The feline fanatic said her permanent Halloween costume was inspired after people compared her to a cat despite never actually planning to look like one.

“I think becoming a cat lady is more appropriate for me as I don’t really want to look like a cartoon character,” explained Dell’Abate. “I have always loved cats, and I think I’ll look really bold and fierce as a cat lady with the right body mods.”
