Bodies of 15 Palestinians were returned to Gaza on Friday, as reported by the officials at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The return served as the latest step to fulfilling the terms of the US-brokered ceasefire agreement.

This action was followed after militants handed over the body of one of the last four remaining Israeli hostages on Thursday. The returned body was identified by Israel as that of Meny Godard, who had been abducted from Kibbutz Be’eri in southern Israel. His wife, Ayelet, was killed during the attack.

Since the ceasefire on October 10, the remains of 25 hostages have been returned to Israel. However, there are still three more bodies in Gaza that need to be recovered and handed over. Hamas also returned 20 living hostages to Israel on October 13.
