Waves of Ukrainian drones targeting the Russian capital overnight have disrupted air traffic at major airports in the Moscow region on Tuesday, according to a media report. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin’s portal, 36 drones were shot down in and around Moscow since Monday evening.

As per news reports that over 200 flights were cancelled or delayed at Moscow airports amid the attack. Ukraine said that Russian missiles, drones and bombs killed at least two civilians, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy persevered with efforts to bolster international support for his country at a UN gathering of world leaders on Tuesday.


Zelenskyy said he met with US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Keith Kellogg in New York on Monday. They discussed cooperation agreements on the manufacturing of drones and Ukraine’s purchase of American weaponry.
