A catalyst could lower the cost of producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) by converting ethanol into jet fuel precursors in a single step. The method uses two patented catalyst technologies to accelerate production of SAF. This turns ethanol into olefins — essential precursors used to produce jet fuel — significantly improving the production process.
