About The Gallery

Andheri Cha Raja also known as the 'Navshala Pavnara Andheri Cha Raja' which means that the idol fulfills the wishes of its devotees. The Andheri Cha Raja Mandal was established in 1966. The Ganesh idol of Andheri Cha Raja will be immersed in the water today and the Ganpati visarjan procession will go on for 21 hours beginning from 5pm. 250 policemen are deployed and a special commando team will also be present for the smooth visarjan procession of Andheri Cha Raja. 

What makes this Ganpati festival unique from other Ganpatis is that Andheri Ch raja idol is immersed after 16 days instead of the usual 10th day for other Ganpati idols. Andheri Cha Raja is frequented by many Bollywood celebrities. Here’s a look at Andheri Cha Raja in pictures
