    Actor Sanjay Dutt was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, for which he spent over 3 years in the Yerawada jail in Pune. In 2007, Sanjay Dutt got cleared by TADA court in the Mumbai blasts case, but was sentenced to imprisonment for illegal possession of arms. This went to and from in the same year with Dutt going in and out of jail. After serving his sentence from 2013, Dutt was released from jail in 2016.

    In April 2018, Salman was convicted by Jodhpur court in 1998 black buck hunting case and sentenced to five years in jail. The actor was released on bail after 2 days
