Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas: Actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra married American singer Nick Jonas in a fairytale wedding in tune with the majestic venue, the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace, situated atop a hill in the Blue City of Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Three days of wedding celebrations included a colourful mehendi ceremony, a friendly cricket match and a power-packed desi musical evening. Priyanka, 36, and Nick, 26, first exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony officiated by the groom's father on December 1 and then tied the knot with all Hindu rituals on December 2. They wore custom-made Ralph Lauren ensembles - a good fit as the two stars had shared the spotlight for the first time as guests of the designer at the 2017 Met Gala. They also had Hindu wedding.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone: On November 14, DeepVeer tied the knot as per Konkani traditions in a dreamy Lake Como setting in Italy amidst a tight circle of family and friends, culminating a six-year-long love story in a 'happily ever after'. And on November 15, the couple got hitched in a North Indian style wedding! The star couple has worked together in Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat although they didn't share screen space in the latter. The couple will have a reception each in Bengaluru and Mumbai on November 21 and 28 respectively. And on December 1, there will be a separate celebration with the film fraternity.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja: After months of speculation, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja finally tied the knot on May 8 in a Sikh ceremony, followed by a grand wedding reception. The event was no less than a fashion extravaganza where who's who of the industry glittered in the creation of some renowned designers and also saw energetic performances by Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan.
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi: A day after the Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja wedding, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi announced their wedding via social media. The lovebirds took everyone by surprise by announcing their marriage by sharing pictures from their Anand Karaj ceremony held at a Vasant Vihar Gurudwara on May 10.
Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath: Star comedian Kapil Sharma married his lady love Ginni Chatrath in Jalandhar at a traditional Punjabi ceremony, which was enlivened by popular singer Gurdas Maan. The Comedy Nights With Kapil star and Ginni wanted the wedding to be rooted in their culture. Their wedding was preceded by days of ceremonies and pre-marriage rituals, including a sangeet which saw their friends dance the night away. A celebration in Mumbai attracted a line-up of Bollywood celebrities, who have had many a laughs on his comedy shows.
Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar: After treating their fans with glimpses from their haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremony, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar finally tied the knot at Shoaib's hometown Bhopal in late February. Dipika and Shoaib, popularly known as 'Shoaika' found love while shooting for their show Sasural Simar Ka, where they played husband and wife.
Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla: The Choti Bahu and Punar Vivaah fame actress married Abhinav Shukla, who is known for his roles in shows like Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and Diya Aur Baati Hum, in Shimla, which is Rubina's hometown. The wedding that took place on June 22 was a traditional ceremony, which was attended by some of their industry friends.
Shriya Saran and Andrei Koscheev: In March, wedding pictures of Shriya Saran surfaced on social media. The Drishyam actress tied the knot with Russian boyfriend Andrei Koscheev in a very low-key affair with only Manoj Bajpayee and veteran Shabana Azmi in attendance at the duo's wedding. Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao: The former Bigg Boss contestants got secretly married in a private ceremony sans the entire hullabaloo of a 'celebrity wedding'. Mimoh and Madalsa: Mithun Chakraborty's son Mahaakshay aka Mimoh tied the knot with fiance Madalsa Sharma in a private ceremony in Ooty on July 10, 2018. The ceremony was held at the actor's posh hotel in Udhagamandalam (Ooty) in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. Mahaakshay's marriage to Madalsa was earlier scheduled for July 7 but it was cancelled after a police team arrived at the venue to investigate a complaint of rape and cheating filed by a woman against the groom.

The couple looked happy and beautiful in each others company. Parul chose a traditional red saree, bangles, sindoor and gold jewellery for her special day. Needless to say, she made for an amazing bride. On the other hand, groom Chirag Thakur opted for a beige sherwani, pagdi and pearl accessories.
Shweta Basu Prasad and Rohit Mittal: Makdee (2002) and Iqbal (2005) actor Shweta Basu Prasad tied the knot with aspiring director Rohit Mittal in Pune on December 13. It was filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who played Cupid when Shweta was working as a script consultant at his production house, and Rohit was being mentored by the filmmaker. Shweta and Rohit got engaged in June.
