 A powerful explosion near Delhi’s historic Red Fort has left the nation in shock. At least eight people were killed and several injured after a high-intensity car blast near the Red Fort Metro Station. The explosion triggered a massive fire, damaging multiple vehicles and shattering windows in nearby buildings. This deadly blast comes just hours after authorities uncovered 2,900 kilograms of explosive materials — including ammonium nitrate — in Faridabad.

A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death in front of his family in Raghubir Nagar, Delhi. The victim’s family was seen crying bitterly as they recounted the gruesome killing. The victim’s wife, Jyoti, said, “The assailants who attacked my husband repeatedly stabbed him with a knife and then ran away.” She also mentioned that they attacked two more people while fleeing the scene. WB Police STF arrests Pakistan-trained militant near India-Bangladesh border

On December 21, a team from the Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police arrested a Pakistan-trained militant named Javed Munshi. He is a known expert in making improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and handling weapons. Munshi is linked to the banned terrorist group Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen (TuM). The arrest took place near the India-Bangladesh border, in the Canning area of South 24 Parganas. This operation was carried out by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Kolkata Police together, based on secret information. Javed Munshi will be presented before the Alipore court soon.

Delhi police arrests AAP MLA Naresh Balyan in extortion case

On November 30, Delhi Police Crime Branch arrested AAP MLA Naresh Balyan in connection with an alleged extortion case from the previous year. Officials stated that the arrest followed an investigation that uncovered an audio clip in which Balyan appeared to discuss collecting ransom with gangster Kapil Sangwan. Balyan is currently being interrogated, and the investigation is ongoing. His lawyer, Advocate Sujan Singh, accused the police of withholding official information about his client's arrest and denying him access to meet Balyan. Singh also alleged that the police gave inconsistent statements regarding Balyan's detention and refused to provide an FIR or any updates on his case.
