In a major relief for Mumbaikars — especially taxi and auto drivers, app-cab operators and school van owners — Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) on Tuesday confirmed that natural gas supply has been fully restored after GAIL repaired its damaged pipeline in the RCF Trombay premises. CNG pumps across Mumbai and its neighbouring areas witnessed long queues for the second straight day on Tuesday, as supply disruptions caused by damage to a key gas pipeline continued to hamper refuelling for vehicles.
