Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma lashes out at Cong over case against BV Srinivas

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lashed out at the Congress for blaming him for the 'lack of a safe environment within the Congress party for female workers' and asked Indian Youth Congress chief BV Srinivas, who has been booked for harassment, to cooperate with the legal process. Himanta Biswa Sarma's statement came after Congress MP Randeep Surjewala accused him of trying to outbid Union Home Minister Amit Shah from his post and to save himself from the 'ignominity' that the Assam Chief Minister once faced when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was going to arrest him for the Saradha scam and the Louis Berger scam.
