Since people with hearing loss have a heightened ability to feel vibrations, it can be used to tap this to get them to play the percussion instrument. A foot-over-bridge in Vashi collapsed on 7th October while it was being dismantled by the PWD workers. The incident took place near the near the Vashi Police Naka. No one was injured in the incident except the driver of the crane who suffered minor injuries. The incident led to traffic congestion and Mumbai police prompted commuters to take an alternate route.
