In their inaugural friendly fixture, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Regional Academy (Navi Mumbai) U-15 team thrashed visiting U-16 Sacred Heart Santa Cruz 5-0 at the Fr Agnel's Sports Complex on Saturday.
The friendly match saw the teams playing three halves of 20 minutes each. Kerala winger Prashant K opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Suman Sarkar (Karnataka) bolstered the lead in the 31st minute with a spectacular effort.
The home team were cruising when Stany Braganza (Goa) made it 3-0 with a brilliant solo effort. Prashant again found the net to make it 4-0.
