"There is no doubt. We have seen it before and it might bring back some memories for Pakistan of the Test match in Sydney a few months ago," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Watson, as saying.
"They know exactly our fighting spirit as a team and that we were able to turn around that Test match in Sydney. I think that will start to really creep into their minds over the next day or so especially with Ricky and Michael batting so nicely at the moment."
"We know there is a lot of hard work still to go in this Test match and hopefully we can continue to do that over the next couple of days and get the result like we did in Sydney," he added.
Watson claimed 6-33 to back his surprise return of 5-40 in the first Test at Lord's, and dismiss Pakistan for 258 in the first innings, a lead of 170 runs, in response to Australia's 88.
Skipper Ricky Ponting (61 not out) and Michael Clarke (32 not out) followed up Watson's efforts by piloting Australia to 2-136, still trailing by 34 runs, when bad light ended play early.
In the Sydney Test, Australia trailed by 206 runs after the first innings before a century stand between Mike Hussey and Peter Siddle for the ninth wicket allowed the home side to set 176 for victory.
Pakistan's batting line-up had then collapsed to lose the match by 36 runs.
