Australia were bowled out for 240 runs in the second innings and set India a 292-run target to win on the fourth day of the first cricket Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here Thursday.

Resuming at overnight 179/8, Australia added 61 runs in the first session. Umesh Yadav picked up four for 70, Zaheer Khan had three for 53 and Ishant Sharma bagged two for 43.
