Dhaka: England captain Jos Buttler's (57) lone rally proved futile as opposite number Mashrafe Mortaza inspired Bangladesh to a series-levelling 34-run victory in the second ODI yesterday.

The tourists made a woeful start to their pursuit of 239 as they slumped to 26 for four in the 10th over, with Mortaza (4-29) having earlier contributed 44 off 29 deliveries to boost the Tigers' total to 238 for eight.
