Legendary Australian leg-spinner, Shane Warne feels India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s demand for turning tracks ahead of the second Test between India and England at Wankhede today is not right, and that the decision should left to the groundsmen instead.

“I think the groundsmen will prepare whatever wicket they want to. Dhoni might have just said that to put pressure on the English batsmen. But I am sure the pitch will just be the same,” said 43-year-old Warne, who will be a part of the ESPN-STAR commentary team for theu00a0second Test.
Soil factor
“You know it’s red soil. You know it’s going to spin. I don’t like a captain specifically asking for any particular wicket. We know it’s going to spin. I think he (Dhoni) is playing a few mind games with the England batsmen,” said Warne.
“I am sure that the groundsmen will take pride in producing the best Test pitch and teams will then have a look at the wicket and work out the team combination and whether they want to bat or bowl first. I don’t think anyone is interested in flat wickets with 700 runs. It’s boring. But in India, you have to expect turning tracks,” he said.u00a0
