Dinesh Karthik rued the dropped catches that proved decisive in India's loss to the West Indies in a one-off T20 match. "If mis-hits go for sixes then you know it is Evins Lewis' day but he gave us two chances, we couldn't hold on to them.

Those were costly opportunities. The result went their way because of dropped chances," Karthik said. Explaining why he couldn't hold on to the catch, Karthik said: "I am confident of taking high catches. It is just that the breeze took it slightly away and could see Virat running in. That took a fraction of second for me and that's is the reason I dropped it."
