India's stand-in one-day captain Gautam Gambhir has negated talk of him missing the fifth ODI against New Zealand in Chennai on December 10 and flying out early to South Africa.

India's stand-in one-day captain Gautam Gambhir has negated talk of him missing the fifth ODI against New Zealand in Chennai on December 10 and flying out early to South Africa.

"I haven't heard anything about this," said Gambhir yesterday.u00a0 A newspaper reported that Yuvraj Singh would lead in the absence of Gambhir.

Meanwhile, the skipper stressed that all his energies were focussed on tomorrow's fourth one-dayer in Bangalore.

"Forget the SA tour, I am not even thinking about the final ODI in Chennai. The Bangalore one-dayer is critical and we must make most of our opportunity," he said.u00a0
