The Indian Premier League (IPL) has signed Shah Rukh Khan owned Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd as promoters for the Opening Ceremony to be held on the evening of April 2 at the Salt Lake Stadium here
“We are delighted to have tied up with Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd, which has a proven track record of organising and executing events on a grand scale.
The Opening Ceremony of the IPL 2013 will be one of the most spectacular events ever witnessed, in keeping with what will follow in the tournament itself, over the following seven weeks,” Rajeev Shukla, chairman of IPL, said in a press release yesterday.
Further details pertaining to the extravaganza will be announced over the next few days. The IPL 2013 will be played across the country from April 3 to May 26.u00a0
