The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel yesterday met Cricket South Africa (CSA) CEO Haroon Lorgat on the sidelines of the ICC Chief Executives' meet.
“Yes, Patel and Lorgat did speak to each other for a few minutes but it is difficult to comment about what transpired during those few minutes. They were certainly cordial with each other,” a source was quoted as saying by PTI yesterday.u00a0

“It’s an internal matter between the two boards and unless they are interested to divulge any information, it is difficult to make a comment on the issue,” the source added.
The two boards have been in discussion following reports of a shortened tour by India to South Africa later this year.u00a0The scheduled tour to South Africa is now in doubt after the BCCI invited the West Indies for a brief series from October 31 to November 27. u00a0
