Sydney: Australia's Pat Cummins is set to miss Wednesday's World Cup clash against Afghanistan after the fast bowler's latest injury setback, Australian media reported Wednesday.
Cummins fell heavily in his delivery stride while taking two for 38 in 6.1 overs during the one-wicket defeat by tournament co-hosts New Zealand at Auckland's Eden Park on Saturday, where Black Caps batsman Kane Williamson drove the fast bowler for the winning six.

The 21-year-old Cummins's career has already been beset by injuries, while Australia's World Cup campaign has seen the likes of skipper Michael Clarke, who also made his 2015 tournament debut in Auckland, and all-rounder James Faulkner sidelined.
Cummins has reportedly complained of soreness since the Australia squad arrived in Perth ahead of Wednesday's Pool A match against tournament newcomers Afghanistan at the WACA ground.
