Adelaide: Indian team's pace spearhead Ishant Sharma was spotted leaving the city in a cab yesterday after a knee injury ruled him out of the ICC World Cup, which begins on February 14.

The fact that Ishant had to take a cab was surprising to say the least, considering teams are usually provided at least one car by the host country during major tournaments.
Every time India hosts a tournament, a car is made available to the visiting team. While there is no ICC regulation requiring the host nation to provide visiting teams cars, it is a courtesy extended by the hosts.
