Inter-club golf to begin on Saturday

Rizvi College emerged victorious in the inter-collegiate cricket tournament for the Saqib Rizvi Memorial Trophy, organised by Junior College Sports Association and sponsored by Rizvi Education Society under the auspices of Mumbai Cricket Association.

While replying to Rizvi's total of 281, Jhunjhunwala College could only manage 203, thus giving Rizvi an easy 78-run win.

Left-arm spinner Aditya Dhumal and off-spinner Punit Tripathi picked up six and three wickets respectively to make sure Jhunjhunwala batsmen do not achieve their target. For Jhunjhunwala, Jayesh Patil scored a fighting 73 off 268 deliveries, but his effort went in vain.
