Pollard and Bravo give friendship a good name

Mumbai Indians' all-rounders Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo could well inspire a Bollywood flick on friendship.

Clearly, the two enjoy each other's company. The duo's bond is not restricted to the dressing room and the field alone, sticking together while having a good time at the hotel lobby or at a party. They also go out shopping and incidentally, both of them have the same number of shopping bags with identical brands.

Until Pollard's mayhem yesterday, the Trinidadians were also struggling for form on the field, together. Some bond this is for sure.u00a0

No khushi for Mishy
DELHI Daredevils leg-spinner Amit Mishra is a devout man. Unfortunately, his prayers went unanswered. It is learnt that the stocky spinner visited the Siddhivnayak temple on Monday night.

Yesterday, his teammates did reasonably well to restrict the Mumbai Indians' surge before Kieron Pollard unleashed himself.

But Mishra, who until yesterday was third on the list of highest wicket-takers in this edition of the IPL, not only went wicketless but was also not allowed to complete his quota of four overs. In the three overs he bowled, Mishra gave away 30 runs.

Unfortunately, that's how cruel cricket can be at times.
