Hubli: Jasprit Bumrah bowled Gujarat to a narrow 15-run first innings lead with a six-wicket haul against Mumbai in the Group A Ranji Trophy tie in Hubli yesterday.

After resuming his innings on 191, Shreyas Iyer was the first wicket to fall with the addition of just three runs.

With the table toppers trailing by 104 runs, Shardul Thakur waged a lone battle taking Mumbai closer to Gujarat's first innings score. But when Bumrah sent Thakur back for 56 it was curtains for Mumbai and Gujarat picked three points by virtute of the first innings lead.

At draw of stumps on the final day, Gujarat were 82-0 in the second innings.
