"Today, I lodged complaint against Mr Sanjay Patel with Mudgal Commission regarding his continuous wrong statements in media about IPL-6 scam enquiry," Verma was quoted as saying in a media release.

When Justice (Retd) Mudgal was asked about Verma's complaint, he was non-committal. "May be he (Verma) has lodged a complaint but I am not supposed to make any comments in the media about it," Mudgal told PTI today.

Verma, secretary of the unrecognized Cricket Association of Bihar, who is also close to the rival faction in BCCI led by Shashank Manohar, had earlier alleged that Patel had apparently made statements about Srinivasan being given clean chit.
