New Delhi: Former India opener Virender Sehwag, currently hosting the "Viru Ke Funde" web series, says Bollywood and cricket have no connection and are not dependent on each other. Bollywood and cricket stars are often seen hanging out together. In fact, some of the actors, including superstar Shah Rukh Khan even co-own cricket teams. So are Bollywood and cricket interlinked?

"In context of Indian Premier League, there is nothing that Bollywood is doing except buying teams because they have a lot of money. Cricket is separate and Bollywood is different. Cricketers don’t need Bollywood and Bollywood doesn’t need cricket. They are doing really well on their own platforms."
