Former South African first-class cricketer Ettiene de Bruyn owns a private hospitality suite here at SuperSport Park. Located in the main Grand Stand overlooking the ground, the suite provides entertainment for his paying clients, who get an opportunity of interacting with South Africa's cricketers and other famous visiting celebrities.

The clients are treated with pre-match snacks, buffet lunch, and has complimentary drinks. The private hospitality seats provide a breathtaking view of the cricket.

The lounge showcases autographed jerseys of Nathan Hauritz and Paul Harris among others. Almost every cricketer who has visited the ground has been to this suite.

Just as this correspondent entered the suite, South African pace spearhead Dale Steyn was seen signing autographs for guests. Such visits by star cricketers are frequent.

"We offer packages for clients to come and watch the cricket in our hospitality lounge. Our motive is to provide them with entertainment throughout the South African cricket summer. "I have similar suites in various stadia across the country.

There is a lot of interest among spectators during the rugby season too," said de Bruyn.
So what is so special about watching cricket from his lounge? "Cricketers pay visits to my lounge all the time; I am friends with most of them.u00a0

Rudi Bryson, who played for South Africa during India's tour here in 1996-97, also paid a visit to De Bruyn's hospitality centre.

Speaking about the ongoing Test, Bryson said India's batsmen looked to be frightened of the short-pitch bowling: "They seemed too scared, mate.

These are supposed to be the best batsmen in the world, but their technique against quality fast bowling was questionable. "I have no doubt that Tendulkar & Co will fire later on in the series, but they need to turn it around quickly."
