India pace spearhead Zaheer Khan, who missed the Nottingham Test due to injury, trained yesterday at the Northampton County Cricket Club ground here with bowling coach Eric Simmons and the team physio in tow. 
Zaheer bowled a few deliveries and according to a groundsman, looked good.
However, it's too early to judge whether his road to recovery is smooth enough as per the needs of the team.
India play Northamptonshire in a two-day fixture across August 5-6.
