The Asia Cup 2025 is all set to witness the electrifying contest between arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, clash against each other for the second time in the ongoing continental tournament.
Both teams will lock horns against each other in the 'Super Four' stage of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium.
Ahead of the match, Team India's wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav's childhood coach, Kapil Pandey, has backed the "Men in Blue" to taste success against Pakistan.
"Our team is very strong. They have defeated Pakistan in the earlier match, so their morale is high. Pakistan is under pressure as they have lost once. Our team is very balanced," said the childhood coach.
He is also hopeful of Kuldeep claiming a five-wicket haul, and if not, then to pick all the crucial wickets to help the team succeed.
"It's time that Kuldeep should pick five wickets, and even if he doesn't pick five wickets, he should bowl well and take the main wickets and make the team proud," Pandey told ANI.
Earlier, in the previous match in the tournament, the Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India secured a dominating victory by seven wickets against Pakistan.
In the concluded match against the "Green Shirts", Kuldeep had claimed three wickets by conceding just 18 runs in his spell of four overs.
The 30-year-old will be aiming to replicate his performance from the previous match ahead of the upcoming clash.
India's bowling attack, spearheaded by Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep, will once again look to exploit Pakistan's batting frailties, while the batting unit will aim to continue their dominant run in the Asia Cup 2025.
