Opener Kaustubh Pawar scored 89 as 39-time Ranji Trophy champions Mumbai reached 235-5 at stumps on Day One of their Ranji Trophy Group 'A' match against Madhya Pradesh yesterday. Pawar faced 270 balls that included 14 hits to the fences.
Among the Madhya Pradesh bowlers, medium-pacer Ishwar Pandey was the most successful claiming 4-28 in his 19 overs. Fellow seamer Anand Rajan bagged the other wicket.
