London: Revenge will be on the minds of Arsenal players when they take on Monaco at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of their Last 16 Champions League clash tonight.

The Gunners' pride will be wounded after they were beaten 0-1 by Monaco in the Emirates Cup — their home tournament — in the pre-season before the current campaign.
The defeat notwithstanding, Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is confident his side have the quality to enter into the quarter-finals.
Compete against best
"It's a special competition," Welbeck told Arsenal's website. "You get to play against different styles of play, the best sides in Europe and it's something that a lot of the players look forward to.
It's massive if you can get far in the competition and that's what we're going to be doing this season.
"I would love to keep on progressing to the last stages of the competition and that's the aim for all the players here."
