Madrid: Both Sami Khedira and Pepe have been left out of the Real Madrid squad to face Basel in the Champions League today.
Neither the midfielder nor the defender have been included in the 20-man squad for the trip to face the Swiss champions, although no reason has yet been given for their absence. Asier Illarramendi has recovered from a hamstring injury to make the squad, while youngsters Alvaro Medran and Lucas Torro have also been included.
