Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge was photographed smoking shisha hours before the team's 1-2 defeat to Crystal Palace on April 23. Sturridge, who is currently injured and out of action, was spotted puffing on the hookah at a Birmingham night club in the early hours of the morning.

The 25-year-old Birmingham-based England star, was partying with a girl in the VIP area of the Arabian Nites club, according to a witness, and reportedly left when people started taking photographs of him smoking. Smoking hookah is said to be the equivalent of over 100 cigarettes, and Liverpool fans won't be happy to know that their £120,000-a-week striker was further hampering his health.
