British boxer Amir Khan has ended the six-month bitter family feud thanks to his wife Faryal Makhdoom, who asked him to bury the hatchet. Amir invited his father Shah to watch a Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan at Edgbaston last week. He took to his Facebook page to post a message while watching the match.

"My dad and I at the pak v ind cricket match last weekend. We both had a great time together. Faryal and I decided to put everything behind us. She played a big part in helping me move forward. Life is too short.

"It’s the month of Ramadan. This is the month Allah asks us to clean our hearts & love one another. A lot has happened but my wife and I have accepted to move forward with a clean heart." Faryal also liked the post. Amir also tweeted a picture (above) of himself and his dad from the match. "Past is the past. Looking forward to a brighter tomorrow," he wrote.
