Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Romanian partner Horia Tecau have lost their bid to win the Australian Open mixed doubles final match at Melbourne Park on Sunday

Mirza, who won the 2009 Australian Open and 2012 French Open mixed doubles titles along with fellow Indian Mahesh Bhupathi, and Tecau were defeated in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon last year, by Nestor and Mladenovic, who went on to win the crown.
