Third seeds Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi advanced to the semi-finals while Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-haq Qureshi sealed a quarter-final berth in the Valencia Open.
Bhupathi and Mirnyi beat Czech Frantisek Cermak and Slovakia's Michal Mertinak 6-3 6-7(6) 10-6. Fourth seeds Bopanna and Qureshi defeated 7-6(6) 4-6 14-12 Pablo Cuevas and Juan Monaco in the opening round.
