Bhupathi-Mirnyi semis chances still alive

With a third straight defeat, Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy crashed out of the World Tour Finals. However, Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi still have a fair chance to make it to the semis.

In a do-or-die encounter against Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman, Bhupathi and his partner will have to dish out their best performance if they aspire to make it to the last four stage. The third seed Indo-Belarusian find themselves in this tough situation after losing the second match 6-7(5) 6-7(1) to Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor.

With two defeats in as many outings, Paes and Dlouhy were never in contention for a place in the semis. But they could have salvaged some pride in the third match. But they lost their third encounter against top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan 3-6, 4-6 as well.
