Gaurav Shah and Prashant Shah both struggled to make the men's singles third round of the Mumbai Suburban District Badminton Championships at the Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana Club yesterday.
While Gaurav beat his rival Maneet 15-4, 5-15, 15-12, Prashant defeated Saurabh Bapat 15-12, 6-15, 15-11.
Meanwhile, the two top seeds, Sushrut Karkarkar and Arijeet Bose, won easily.
