Hansraj Morarji's off-spinner Aayush Sharma's seven-wicket haul against Balmohan Vidyamandir (Dadar) yesterday helped his team enter the Elite Division of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) Giles Shield U-14 inter-school cricket tournament. Hansraj beat Balmohan Vidyamandir by seven wickets at Azad Maidan.

Electing to bat, the Dadar school were bowled out for just 79 in 31.5 overs. Sanket Gawari top scored for Balmohan with 28 as his team collapsed to the guile of Aayush, who accounted for the wickets of Shreyas Phatak (7), Sanket, Mandar Chawan (4), Laukik Tandel (1), Vedant Nalawde (0), Sanchit Varang (0) and Rushikesh Ghadi (0). Aayush finished with impressive figures of 13.5-3-27-7.
