Electing to bat, Al-Barkaat were dismissed for 219. Resuming on an overnight total of 79-3, Sule Guruji looked poised to win the tie.

But the match turned in favour of the Kurla team when Al-Barkaat's Nabijaan Ansari took the crucial sixth wicket of Vedprakash Jaiswal, who got out making 58. After Jaiswal got out, the Dadar school lost the remaining wickets on the trot.

Left-arm-spinner Mohd Saud Mansoori was the pick of Al-Barkaat's bowlers, scalping the wickets of Kaushal Valsangar (30), Sahil Jadhav (27), Aayush Zimare (1), Rugved More (2) and Namdeo Pingulkar (5).
