Giles Shield final: Jaiswal's ton puts Rizvi on top

Rizvi Springfield's (Bandra) Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 100 on Day One of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) Giles Shield Elite Division final against Al-Barkaat MMI (Kurla) at the Brabourne Stadium yesterday.

Jaiswal's 105-ball knock was laced with 12 fours and a six. Earlier, Akash Yadav's five-wicket haul ensured the Kurla school was bundled out for a paltry 78 runs. At stumps, Rizvi were 137-3.
