Made in ChinaThat China is the world's manufacturing hub is no secret. But just how much of the world's stuff do they manufacture? Here's a glimpse ufffd the most populous nation manufactures 35 per cent of the world's mobile phones. They also make almost half the number of cameras in the world ufffd a whopping 48 per cent. And finally, almost every computer used in the world is made in China ufffd 83 per cent of PCs are made here. It's no wonder that China's GDP in 2008 was a mammoth USD 4.4 trillion and in 2010 it is expected to become the world's second largest economy.

It's not everyday that a player in an international tennis match, hands his opponent a point even though the umpire thinks otherwise. India's Karan Rastogi was down 3-5 in the third and final set of his quarter-final match against Uzbek Denis Istomin, when the chair umpire reckoned the Indian had hit a ball long and announced "Game, set, match Istomin." However, the Uzbek went over to the umpire and told him that Rastogi's ball was in and replayed the point. Honesty pays, as they say, and though Rastogi came back strongly to make it 5-5, Istomin eventually prevailed 6-2, 4-6, 7-5.
