Double strikes by Ketan Kalgutkar and Blaise Fernandes and one by Lester Fonseca saw HDFC beat Desperadoes SC 5-0 in a Div-I play-off of the MDFA League at St Xavier's ground, Parel yesterday.
The victory earned HDFC a promotion to the Super Division next season.
