India's pistol shooting coach Sayed Wajid Ali has been denied a US visa to accompany the team for the ISSF World Cup in Fort Benning, USA for the ongoing event.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) said the US embassy has yet to give a reason for denying the government core-group coach visa.

“He has been denied visa though we don’t know the reason behind that. Other coaches are there, his presence would have helped pistol shooters,” said an NRAI official.
