IT was indeed an eventful 25th birthday for World No. 5 Kidambi Srikanth yesterday.
After he led the charge as India drubbed minnows Maldives 5-0 in the men's team competition of the Asia Badminton Championships in Malaysia, there was a sweet surprise waiting for him.
He posted these pictures (left) of his birthday celebrations on Twitter this morning and captioned it, "Thank you guys for the wonderful surprise. Loved it. #birthdaysurprise #teamindia #srikanthkidambi #turns25."
He even posted a screen grab where PâÂu00c2u0080Âu00c2u0088Gopichand Academy coach Mohammed Siyadath Ullah Siddiqui was seen smearing cake on his face.
