Bosco ‘A’ will now face the defending champions St Stanislaus High School for the title on Saturday, in what will be a repeat of last year’s U-14 summit clash where the Bosco boys finished runners up.
‘Eager for revenge’
Bosco coach Javed Sayed said they are eager to avenge their last year’s loss in the final.
“We play Stanislaus in the final and we are eager to avenge that defeat by beating in them their own backyard.”
However, Bosco’s had emerged victorious over Stanislaus when the two teams last met in U-14 DSO final last October.
In yesterday’s semi-final clash, goals from Nihal Dhudwadkar (10th, 35th minute), Kris Benson (13th minute), Aaron Fernandes (45th minute) and Benjamin Lobo (48th minute) saw the ‘A’ team clinch the tie.
Girls on song
Meanwhile, in the girls semi-finals, defending champions St Joseph Convent High School (Bandra) beat Mary Immaculate Girls High School (Borivali) 1-0 and St Elias High School (Khar) outclassed Mount Mary Convent High School (Bandra) 3-0.
